Autononmous Air Cargo
Time-critical air cargo for remote locations
For recipients in remote regions, air cargo is slow and expensive. Autonomous air cargo services offer lower cost, more timely and simplified delivery when paired with local logistics providers. Like a delivery van for the sky, ULTRA takes off and lands from small airfields in tough weather conditions, making it well-suited to serving islands from coastal locations with regular middle-mile delivery.
Time-Critical Goods
Windracers ULTRA supports temperature-controlled delivery for time-sensitive biological testing. High-value goods, tools and spares can be transferred to support building, manufacturing and maintenance in remote locations.
Medical & Test Samples
Transport temperature-controlled and medical cargo. The UK NHS utilised Windracers ULTRA to transfer medical test samples to and from the remote Isles of Scilly during the COVID pandemic.
Post
& Parcel
In partnership with the Royal Mail, Windracers completed 49 inter-island flights across multiple locations, delivering in excess of 500 kg of mail. Our operations remain the UK’s most successful drone postal cargo service.

Spotlight: ULTRA for critical goods delivery in Alaska
When communities around Fairbanks Alaska are cut off by snow, ice and fog, ACUASI of the University of Alaska Fairbanks are using ULTRA to prove the effectiveness of UAVs to bring critical supplies to communities in need. In August 2025, ACUASI personnel were trained by Windracers at Jasper Country Airport in Indiana and had their maiden ULTRA flight on October 1st 2025. Cathy Cahill, Director of ACUASI, explains.
Spotlight: Delivery in the Scottish Highlands & Islands
In partnership with Royal Mail, Windracers completed 49 inter-island flights across seven locations, carrying over 500 kg of mail and covering 3,000 km — proving reliable, autonomous logistics for remote communities. For Scottish Water, Windracers flew urgent water samples from Lerwick to Orkney. The mission demonstrated rapid, temperature-controlled delivery for time-sensitive biological testing, ensuring regulatory compliance.
