Windracers CEO Speaks at RAeS Future Air Defence Summit

Royal Aeronautical Society’s Future Air and Space Defence Summit brought together senior leaders from across the aerospace, defence, government and autonomous aviation sectors to examine the rapidly evolving role of next-generation air systems in modern defence operations.

Representing Windracers, CEO Simon Muderack joined an expert industry panel focused on ‘Uncrewed Aircraft for Strategic Advantage’, contributing insights into the operational and strategic value of autonomous logistics and uncrewed aviation technologies.

Drawing on the real-world deployment experience of Windracers ULTRA, the world’s most accomplished autonomous dual-use heavy-lift drone, the session explored advances in autonomous aviation, fleet integration and the future challenges surrounding uncrewed operations. Discussions also highlighted the increasing importance of resilient, scalable and cost-effective uncrewed systems in supporting defence, logistics and humanitarian missions worldwide.
