Windracers joined the global aerospace community at Farnborough International Airshow 2026, showcasing Windracers ULTRA and demonstrating the future of dual-use, heavy-lift autonomous drones to industry leaders, international delegations and aviation professionals from around the world.
Throughout the week, ULTRA took centre stage on the Windracers stand, with twice-daily live rigging demonstrations giving visitors the opportunity to see the aircraft’s unique design and rapid deployment capability up close. The demonstrations highlighted the simplicity, agility and robustness of the ULTRA platform, designed for rapid deployment and ease of use in challenging environments to support a wide range of mission types.
The show provided a valuable opportunity for the Windracers team to connect with customers, partners and stakeholders across the civil and defence sectors. With representatives from teams across the company attending, the stand hosted a busy programme of meetings, discussions and networking sessions, helping to showcase the growing demand for dual-use heavy-lift platforms.

Windracers welcomed a number of high-profile visitors and international delegations during the event, including His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan and a UK Ministry of Defence Vice Admiral. Their visits reflected the increasing global interest in uncrewed aircraft systems and the role they can play in delivering critical capabilities.
The week also saw Windracers CEO Simon Muderack appear live on CNBC International’s Squawk Box Europe, discussing the capabilities of ULTRA, the missions it has delivered in Ukraine, and the future opportunities for autonomous aviation across both civil and defence applications.
