Windracers ULTRA, the world’s most accomplished autonomous dual-use heavy-lift drone, was showcased at Eurosatory 2026 from 15th to 19th June.
Eurosatory welcomed more than 80,000 visitors from across the international defence community and attendees had the chance to see Windracers ULTRA up-close. The Windracers team explained how ULTRA is delivering customer missions, across defence and civilian applications in Antarctica, North America, Europe and Africa.
Designed for remote and contested environments, Windracers ULTRA has a payload of over 150kg, a range up to 2000 km and endurance of up to 15 hours.
Powered by Windracers’ proprietary flight control, avionics and mission control software, Windracers ULTRA operates with minimal human intervention, delivering safe, reliable and cost-effective autonomous logistics. Attendees at Eurosatory were able to experience the Mission Control Software interface to undertand how ULTRA pilots plan and execute missions.
During the week, Windracers was honoured to attend the British Embassy in Paris, where Windracers CEO Simon Muderack joined a panel discussion exploring the future of autonomous systems.
Simon shared insights into Windracers ULTRA’s civil and defence applications, highlighting how operational experience in Ukraine has shaped the platform’s advancement and what this means for the wider UK drone sector.
